About Lakecipher
Lakecipher is an IT company based in Mayiladuthurai, Tamil Nadu. We build websites, online stores, mobile apps, custom software and smart contracts, and we help businesses get found on Google and in AI answers. It started in 2026, is led by Karthikeyan Govindan, and works with businesses in the Kaveri delta and online with clients everywhere else.
Why we exist
Around Mayiladuthurai, a business that wants a website usually has three choices: a relative who "knows computers", a cheap template from someone they may never reach again, or a big-city agency that has never been here.
We think there's a better option: a real engineer, based here, with public prices, everything in your name, and work done in your language.
The name is simple. A lake is clear and calm. A cipher is code. We want our work to be both: serious engineering that you can see into.
How we work
- In writing. Price, date and scope, before you pay anything.
- In your name. Domain, hosting and code stay yours.
- In plain language. In Tamil or English, without jargon.
- In public. Prices, research and code are open for you to check.
- Small on purpose. Karthikeyan leads every project. Trusted freelancers help on larger jobs, and you'll know when they do.
What we can't do yet
You should know this before you decide.
- We're new, so we have no client reviews yet.
- We have no published client app on the app stores yet.
- We aren't a big team, and we don't offer 24-hour support.
- We don't run paid ads.
- We don't shoot video.
- We don't offer a big audit-firm brand for smart contracts.
What we refuse
- Gambling, lottery and betting sites and apps
- Fake tokens, "flash USDT" and crypto recovery schemes
- Holding or trading anyone's crypto
- Fake reviews, bought links and copied brand sites
- Guarantees of a number 1 ranking
