Terms of work
Lakecipher is the trading name of Karthikeyan Govindan, based in Mayiladuthurai, Tamil Nadu. Your written quote is the main agreement between us. These terms fill in the rest.
Quotes and scope
Prices on this site are starting prices. Your written quote states the work, the price, the delivery date and the rounds of changes. Work outside it is quoted separately, before it's done.
Payment
One-time projects are 50% to start and 50% after you approve the finished work, before launch. Monthly services are billed monthly, and either side may stop with notice in writing. Fees to other companies, such as domains, hosting or platforms, are paid by you to them.
Dates
Delivery dates assume that we have your text, photos and answers on time. If they arrive late, the date moves with them.
Ownership
Domains and accounts are set up in your name. Once a project is fully paid for, the code and design we made for you are yours. We may reuse general techniques and open-source tools. We'll show your project publicly only with your written permission.
After launch
Small fixes are free for 30 days after launch. After that, we quote changes first. You're free to use any other developer.
What we can't promise
We can't guarantee rankings on Google, mentions in AI tools, sales or leads, since we don't control them. We can't guarantee that any software or smart contract is free of faults. For smart contracts holding serious money, you should use more than one reviewer.
Work we refuse
We may decline or stop work that's illegal or misleading, including gambling, fake tokens and fake reviews. We never hold or manage cryptocurrency for clients and don't give investment, legal or tax advice.
